Japanese

This year I have learned about 124 kanji using wanikani.com. The official amount taught in primary and secondary school is 2,136 so I still have a loonnnng way to go, but the other day I was looking at a fountain pen on a Japanese website and realized I understood which nib was the bold nib (太字)! I could even read the katakana for the zoom nib (ズームニーブ)!

This wasn’t a resolution it just happened to start at the end of last year. We are going to Japan this year and I thought it’d be nice to be able to read some signs or menus.
