Tokyo Trip 2025

We just got back from our trip to Tokyo. We spent a week doing all the touristy things like the Owl Cafe, Akihabara, Shibuya, Tokyo Disney, Disney Sea, 7-Eleven, and conveyor belt sushi.

In December I started learning kanji for fun. From everything I learned the one that ended up being most useful was 空車 (vacant taxi). Pretty much everything else was labeled or translated so we never had too much trouble, though a few times I was helped by being able to read 出口 (exit).

I think I’m going to keep learning Japanese and see where it goes.
